Scholarships to Study in New Zealand

Studying in New Zealand can become quite an expensive affair, but if you plan well in advance, you can apply to a range of scholarships offered by the New Zealand Universities and Colleges. Open to meritorious international students to help them fund their studies, these can be partial or fully paid, depending on the criteria, course and the institution.
Many scholarships and bursaries are also offered by the New Zealand government and various private and public establishments as well. When applying to any of these scholarships, make sure you check the criteria carefully, along with the application closing date.

Lincoln University International Scholarships

Qualifying International students will be awarded with a scholarship of NZ$7000 –NZ$15,000 towards the overall cost of their study in one of the 180 credits taught master’s Programme. Students must have a GPA of at least 85% or A average in the last year of their bachelor’s degree to meet the requirements.

NZD $15,000 Scholarship (High Academic Excellence Award)

Whether finance graduate, or with a background in mathematics, statistics, physics or economics the (M.Finc) degree could be perfect. Flexible study options to suit different academic backgrounds and career aspirations are available.

Study accounting in New Zealand at the University of Otago with one of 10 x $10,000 NZD Scholarships.

If you know a student who would like be an accountant but they haven’t studied accounting before, the University of Otago’s Master of Professional Accounting (MProf.Acct) is the course to get them there! The (MProf.Acct) enables graduates with little or no experience or qualifications in accounting to work towards professional accreditation through an intensive course of study and applied research.

New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) 2023/2024

Eligibility Criteria: The New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) is jointly funded by New Zealand Universities and Education New Zealand (ENZ). The NZEA features Scholarships across seven New Zealand Universities, offering an opportunity for Indian students to experience New Zealand excellence in various Programmes:

UP Education offers merit-based scholarships to international students enrolling in selected programs.This scholarship supports academically strong students seeking quality education through UP Education managed institutions.

NZSEG SCHOLARSHIP

NZD 10,000 for Master’s Degree Programme

The NZSEG (New Zealand Skills and Education Group) Scholarship is designed for students enrolling in eligible Master’s degree programs.This scholarship aims to make postgraduate education more affordable for deserving international students.
